Today I cared most about the guy who was trying to get ice un-stuck from the drink machine. The girl who sat next to me in Humantities from Viatnam and is doing very well at learning English as a second languge. The woman working inside of the campus bookstore having to check bags when the door beeped. The guy outside of said store trying to sell off his used-beyond-buyback books. My best friend who was was with me starting college for the first time today. That's who I cared about most in my life today.

I just have to say that this thing scares the shit out of me...

So I'm reading some fic, chillin' out, helping with dinner, doing laundry, all that fun stuff.
And I hear the phone ring (for once) and go to see who it is on my headset.
Mind you the actual headset part itself doesn't work, but the number pad and caller id box do.
I catch the phone to late and have to scan the caller id to see who it was.
Not a number nor name I recognize, but I scan some more to see who's been calling that I might have missed.
I see another number I don't know, then taternuts' uncle's place.
Then...
Then I see something that makes me stop and go, "...huh."
